Twisted orb
The Twisted Orb will hold essence like a battery and collect it through mending.
USAGE
Similar to mending, collection of essence is done by holding the orb in either hand and picking up experience points.
Transfer essence to other essence-capable items by placing the orb on them in your inventory.
OBTAINING
Craft an orb with 4 nether stars, 4 netherite ingots and a dragon egg.
The ender dragon has 50% chance of dropping an egg.
This recipe requires an amount of experience levels that changes every week.
Technical
The orb can store up to 512 essence points.
The amount of levels required to craft varies between 125 and 200.
Holding a non full orb will take charging priority over mending items and normal xp collection.
The orb in the main hand will have priority over the orb in the offhand.
While charging, every experience point is randomly worth between 0.095 and 0.155 essence.
